The ports on the 825's are, well, wide open as they can be.
In the picture the cabinets are missing the lower (in this orientation) baffle board, so the ports are larger than stock, Though. It looks like the board was removed to mount the horn, but then the horn wasn't mounted in the cabinet so the port ends up being extra large.

Actually two lower boards. Good catch.
THESE MIGHT BE...a hybrid front- rear horn.
IE the back part is similar to a JBL scoop.
I worked with some fellows from Pennsylvania, we built a few dozen. Somehow Polk may have wound up with some.
When I bought an Altec RTA and we saw how bad they were we quit making them.
OTOH they might just have the port boards removed.
